Inside the Dynamics section, you can create models, customize fields, forms, and components.
What can be configured under Objects?
- When you start using Fieldcode Dynamics, the Objects page will be your first best friend.
- The object defines the main characteristics of your custom object, the fields and potential relations to other objects, and more.
What can be configured under Custom Fields?
- On the Custom Fields page, you can define your own fields that can be used for your own model, or generally customize and create custom fields that you would like to use throughout Work place (regardless of models).
What can be configured under Forms?
- Forms are used throughout Work place as data containers, and they are a collection of fields.
- With different form types, you can achieve different goals.
- A Create form for example is used upon record creation.
- An inline form example is used as a building block for designing your custom components.
What can be configured under Components?
- You can design your custom components, which are utilized by your model.
- Inside the Component designer you can design the contents of your custom components. In the current state, we offer the X-Pool component and the X-Details component as custom components.
- You can use the custom components to design a view inside the Views designer to make use of your custom components.
