There are currently two different versions of the Fieldcode Mobile App available in the Google Play Store and App Store:

  • Fieldcode App (in the manual named FMA)
    This is the next-gen App.
    You can find matching help topics on the left sidebar and via the search.
  • Fieldcode mobile application (in the manual named FMA 1)
    This is the older App.
    You can find matching help topics on this page further below and via the search.
Please do not run both apps simultaneously

Running both apps simultaneously on one device can cause unexpected behavior and ticket conflicts.

Upfront information regarding our FMA Apps
  • FMA Apps always utilize and display the device's time zone.
  • It is not possible to use the FMA and the older FMA 1 at the same time.
  • Only one App at a time can be used to process tickets via the App.
  • Screenshots and GIFs from the iOS version are used for the FMA part of the manual to explain certain steps and instructions.
  • Your experience with the Android version therefore may vary a little bit.
  • On the first launch, you will be asked if you want to allow notifications and if you want to share the location with the App. 
  • We recommend that you turn on notifications and use the "Always" setting for location sharing.
    Within this prompt, you can also select if you want to use the "Precise Location" or not.
  • When you disable "Precise Location" you won't be displayed online and with the defined location in Work Place and Customer Portal.
  • Therefore we recommend you to leave the "Precise Location" option turned on for the best experience.
  •  You always have the option to change the location and privacy settings manually on your device after and before the prompts.

The Fieldcode App (FMA) is designed for Field service engineers, who want to extra-efficiently manage their daily work.

Through the Fieldcode App (FMA), engineers/technicians can access all their ticket data and record and report their work on-site. Keep your entire field operations team updated on their scheduled events and provide them with important information such as all relevant schedule details, information about the customers, communication details, updates on part delivery, and route information on a practical map relevant to your engineers/technicians.

The Fieldcode mobile application (FMA 1 ) is suited for engineers on the field, assisting them in their daily field service assignments and reporting. 

Legacy App

The Fieldcode mobile application (FMA 1) has been replaced by the next-gen Fieldcode App (FMA).
On this page, we give you access to all the topics regarding the older FMA 1.
As we plan to remove the app from the App Stores one day, the help topics are no longer displayed in the manual frontend, but are still accessible from this page.
