How to work inside the Analytics
The Analytics component gives you far-reaching information and predictions about the field service performance of your company. With many different reports, you can identify problems early, take the right precautions, and easily improve overall performance within your organization using key data from Analytics.
Each tab has its analytical focus that will give you very deep analytical data that your business can easily benefit from. We will have a general bigger look at them in this topic, to find out what is possible with each tab, please click on the individual matching topics.
There are currently seven main reports which each have a lot of different sub-tabs giving you a lot of different insights:
What is the Forecasting Report?
The predictive Forecasting component gives you far-reaching insights for making the right business decisions in advance.
It can directly assist you in the process of taking crucial business-changing actions.
What is the particular purpose of the Forecasting Report?
With the help of the Forecasting Report, you gain valuable insights into the distribution of dispatch groups and devices, development of work times, development of utilization, development of productivity, development of influencing factors, total ticket trends, and practical estimations for headcount developments and estimations for headcount developments with a configured productivity goal in mind.
You can form the base model to push the forecasting precision and experience even further.
Who benefits most from the Forecasting Report?
These person groups can benefit most from the Forecasting Report:
Managers, bosses, company leaders, HR, and long-term decision-takers. The Forecasting Report is best suited to bosses and company leaders who keep track of general long-term business ongoings and who take major decisions (eg. operational decisions). With the Forecasting results, they can go then to group managers, SDMs, etc., and tell them how to work with the results.
What is the difference between IN and OUT tabs?
The IN tabs display a statistical analysis of different parameters.
The OUT tabs build even more valuable forecasting data for your business with the help of prediction parameters and scores that are provided to the system (base model, target points). These parameters can easily be adjusted and configured inside the Admin panel and take into consideration a lot of different influencing factors (eg. Annual Intervention Rate, Seasonal Variations, Lead Pipeline Intervention Rates, and other influencing factors).
How is the “Utilization” calculated?
Time spent on working (drive time + work time) compared to all available time in standard 8h working time.
How is the “Productivity” calculated?
Amount of points collected by engineer compared with productivity goal.
The productivity of a particular dispatch group is calculated with the help of the average productivity of its members.
What is the Analytics live report?
The Analytics Live Report provides you with various insights about the daily progress, critical tickets, and ticket volume.
What is the particular purpose of the Analytics Live Report?
To comprehend daily ticket on-goings and daily ticket volumes.
Who benefits most from the Analytics Live Report?
This view has no specific person group and can be useful for almost everybody working with the Fieldcode system. Dispatchers and backend office for example can profit from the progress today view, critical tickets while team leaders or managers for example can draw their conclusions from the Tickets volume tab.
What is the Tickets overview Report?
The Tickets Overview tab displays your tickets in a tabular view.
The Ticket map tab displays the tickets on a global map view.
What is the particular purpose of the Tickets Overview Report?
The tickets overview report displays an extensive overview of all tickets in the system.
The overview contains almost every data associated with a particular ticket (eg. street names, projects, categories, etc. pp.).
The tickets overview is a different way (compared to the Ticket Pool) to see Ticket Details more graphically processed.
You also have the option to export data from the tickets overview report.
Who benefits most from the Tickets overview report?
This view has no specific person group and can be useful for almost everybody working with the Fieldcode system. Dispatchers and managers for example can both profit from ticket heat maps, while backend officers have detailed overviews of tickets in different statuses, that help them to optimize processes.
What is the Workforce Insights Report?
The Workforce Insights Report gives you insights to make the right short-term business decisions and assists you in the process of taking immediate crucial business-changing actions.
What is the particular purpose of the Workforce Insights Report?
With the help of Workforce Insights, you gain valuable insights into absences of your engineers, on-call duty distribution, the productivity of engineers in graphical prepared views like plots and matrices, the productivity of whole dispatch groups, and workforce forecasts based on dispatched/undispatched tickets.
Who benefits most from the Workforce Insights Report?
These person groups can benefit most from the Workforce Insights Report:
Team leaders of dispatchers, team managers of dispatchers, region managers, service delivery managers of areas, area managers, and short-term decision takers. The Workforce Insights Report is best suited to team leaders who keep track of their dispatch groups and take short-term decisions (eg. organizing group structures).
What is the Dispatch Insights Report?
What is the particular purpose of the Dispatch Insights Report?
The Dispatch Insights Report gives you insights into reassigned tickets, potential delays with your tickets, and about rescheduled tickets.
