About permissions for the Workflow Scripts page
  • Please note that you cannot access the Workflow Scripts page with the default roles.
  • Please note that you cannot access the Workflow Scripts page without an active Enterprise plan.
  • You have to first create a custom role inside the Permissions page, which contains view and edit rights for the Workflow Scripts page.
  • Please enable the following rights for your custom role:
    Access -> Permissions -> Security Resources ->Admin panel category -> Navigation menu: Automations -> Page: Workflow Scripts -> View + Edit rights.

The Workflow Scripts Designer inside the Admin panel gives you the option to create & edit (currently JavaScript based) workflow scripts, which are executing small JavaScript functions. You can validate your scripts with the Workflow Scripts Designer by clicking either on Validate in the header or moving to the Validations tab inside the Workflow Scripts Designer.

You can create as many workflow scripts as you want and integrate them into one or multiple custom workflows

  • In the search field, you can search for workflow scripts by entering the script name or another keyword.

  • With the plus button, you can add another workflow script.

  • You can configure the workflow script columns according to your preferences by using this button.

You can open a script by clicking on it. You then will reveal the options of the Workflow Scripts Designer:

  • Parameters tab: You can enter a Workflow Script name and describe the purpose of the script.

  • Validation tab: Gives you the option to validate your script.

  • Validate button: Redirects you to the Validation tab.

  • Name field: Enter a name for your new or existing workflow script. This field is mandatory.

  • Description field: Enter a description for your new or existing workflow script.

  • Code block: You can input your JavaScript function inside the code block.

  • Save button: Gives you the option to cache save your workflow script.

  • Save & Close button: Gives you the option to save your workflow script and close the Script Designer.

  • Close button: Gives you the option to close your workflow script without saving.

You can validate a workflow script by clicking on the refresh button inside the Validation tab.

Alternative option: Click on the Validate button right next to the header, which will instantly redirect you to the Validation tab.

After the workflow script has passed the validation the Validation passed status will be displayed. If the validation doesn't pass you can adjust your script accordingly until it passes the validation.
