Breaking Changes

The following list contains changes that may impact day-to-day operations.
Attachments in Forms are coming - make sure to update FMA app to the latest version!
We're extending custom forms with the possibility to upload attachments. You'll be able to add attachment components to any of your forms in Admin panel, so you can simply attach files when opening them on the web or FMA. Please note, the new feature set is only compatible with our latest FMA app version, so don't miss to update it!
We will remove the possibility to create "Ticket automated actions", it will be only possible to create "Workflow based automated actions" in the future.There will, however, still be the possibility to edit legacy automated actions for a while.
Free users will gain the possibility to edit automated actions in limited ways directly in the Workflow designer instead.

Upfront Information

The following list contains important pre-release info.
Fieldcode Plus: Predefined queries (WP/X-Pool)
You can now save shared queries for tickets and custom objects alike, so everyone under your company's account can access them. The saved queries will appear in the Ticket Pool/Predefined tab and X-Pool dropdowns, alphabetically sorted. Everyone can save their own query to "My queries", but shared queries creation is bound to permission
We will further simplify the container ticket scheduling (WP/Container tickets)
The "multiple appointments view" will open straight away.
We plan to introduce a object nudge functionality inside the Workflow designer (AP/Workflows)
Once this is achieved we plan to remove the legacy ticket nudge functionality at some point.

Planned Features

We plan to improve same location ticket assignments (Scheduling & Optimization)
With the new configuration options, tickets for the same location can be assigned to the same engineer, which results in time reduction. You will be able to set a radius for same location grouping and you will have the possibility to set a percentage for how much appointment durations should be reduced for same location tickets.
It will be possible to schedule tickets from within the Partner Portal (WP/Partner Portal)
This can be done by configuring a new "Schedule ticket" button. Partners can then as well utilize the option to schedule tickets via a simplified scheduling window.
Partner Portal tokens can be invalidated for the Partner Portal (AP/Workflows)
You can now configure token invalidations inside the Workflow designer for the Partner Portal button.
The storage time project setting will from now on apply to PUDO shippings only (AP/Projects)
This will reduce the necessity of manual storage time corrections.
We plan to introduce the possibility to export dynamic object records from the X-Pool (Fieldcode Plus)
It will be possible to export object entries in the X-Pool component. As with the Ticket Pool, it will soon be possible to export object entries via Excel in order to process this data for statistics and analysis, for example.
We plan to introduce the possibility to test-run outgoing mappings with selected entities with user-provided payload (AP/Interfaces/Outgoing Mappings)
This will make testing and fixing outcoming mappings more easier.
We will integrate the Project ID into the parts forms by default (AP/Forms)
This will make it possible in the future to create project-specific forms for the FMA app, which can be used, for example, for the part usage form or the parts return form.

Features

We are introducing new, and even more convenient ways to add parts. You now have the option to fetch available parts from external inventories via configured API connections and just simply add them to your ticket in Fieldcode (WP/Parts handling)
You need to contact support to customize the configuration accordingly.
We are significantly improving the handling of the Parts tab (WP/Parts handling)
It is now be possible to access tracking data with fewer clicks, as the tracking data will now be accessible directly at the parts level. In addition, we are improving the smartness of the tracking links so that the most relevant data is always called up first in the tracking window, and the type of tracking link and invalid tracking links are indicated by clear icons.
We are changing the layout for editing parts (WP/Adding Parts)
The Part Edit form will now open from the side in the same way as other edit forms do.
The Scheduling Assistant now informs you proactively if there is no overlap in parts availability (for multiple parts) (WP/Scheduling Assistant)
A notification will pop up for such circumstances.
We have some new useful options inside System Connections (AP/Systems)
With the unrestricted toggle and outsource toggle you can customize system connections even more.
We have further improved the Partner Portal experience (WP/Partner Portal)
Partners now have the option to interact with buttons via self-configurable workflow buttons which you can design on your own. You need to adapt/configure the underlying workflow appropriately.

We are improving the scrollbar behavior (WP/AP)
The scrollbars should now behave more consistent.
X-Pool Enhancements (Fieldcode Plus)
In the X-Pool, we will now display the project name instead of the project ID. We will also now display the project color for each record (similar to the Ticket Pool). These changes should make the X-Pool component even more user-friendly.
Relations are now sorted alphabetically (Fieldcode Plus)
Related field values are now sorted alphabetically in the X-Details, which makes them a lot easier to read, when having multiple relations.

Now, when creating CANCEL forms, the "cancel indicator" field automatically sets default to Yes (AP/Forms)
Field validations do not sum up anymore (AP/Forms)
Initial appointments can still be modified when using container tickets (WP/Container tickets)
You do not need to adjust your zoom level anymore if the object lists exceeds 25 items (WP/X-Pool)
We have made the logs more user-friendly (WP/History)
We have improved the scrollbar behavior (AP/Workflows & AP/Workflow Scripts)
Saving forms with the "Save" and "Save & Close" buttons is more reliable now (AP/Forms)
Field label translations now also display properly when using drag & drop (AP/Forms)
Container tickets do not display unnecessary overlapping tickets warning anymore (WP/Container tickets)
The search section is now fixed and the search functionality remains available when scrolling (WP/Forms)

New ban conditions for scheduling (AP/Users)
There may be various reasons why a certain engineer is not allowed to service a certain customer, e.g. due to a clause in a previous employment contract that prohibits it. That's why we offer the possibility to define ban conditions for engineers, so that tickets that fall under such conditions cannot be assigned to the engineer. Example: John D. cannot be assigned to a ticket that takes place at "Random Factories" in "Paris".
We are excited to release the Workflow designer (AP/Workflows)
With the new Workflow designer it is possible to create & edit new custom/existing workflows. There is also the possibility to test/validate your workflows and we are really excited to see what our customers are able to achieve with this truly exciting Feature set (for Enterprise users).
More fields for you! (WP/Parts)
We are now displaying more fields on the parts forms and parts sections on the Work place and in the Admin panel. The parts form now displays the Entry ID; Stock; Condition; and Replace serial fields. The new fields will as well be displayed in the Parts details. For the part shipping row inside the part details we have included the Address note; Shipment condition; and Shipping comment fields.
You can now convert most form fields to scanner input fields for use in the FMA (AP/Forms)
You can now use the scanner to fill in certain fields directly instead of typing. To benefit from those new fields, custom forms must first be created within the Admin panel that include these fields with a scanning function.

Now, clicking on a list row on the overview page will open the list view mode (AP/Lists)
This improvement ensures the consistency throughout Admin panel.
We have fixed a problem with the @partner alias for filters, so that it now also takes cooperation and direct connection partners into consideration when using it (AP/Automated Actions)
Automated Actions just got a little bit smarter once again.

We have fixed a problem where group definition was not saved for custom or ticket grouping options (AP/Incoming Mappings)
We have improved the highlighting of rows when hovering to be more intuitive (AP/Lists)
Draggable pop-overs can no longer be dragged off the screen, requiring a user to refresh to fix the problem (WP/SA/Timeline/Reschedule PUDO/Private Note/Shipment tracking/Timeline/Manage Availabilities)
We have fixed issues with Show on Map functionality not working from the Timeline in specific cases (WP/Map)
We have fixed the issue where ETA and end of storage time were not updated correctly based on real-time shipping data (WP/Parts tab)
We have fixed a problem where the end of storage time stamp would show the wrong time zone (WP/Parts tab)
We have fixed a problem where the end of storage time and date were stored and displayed even if no storage time was entered (WP/Parts tab)

Features

The following list highlights new and exciting WP/AP/CP/PP features.
We have a new page within the Admin panel where you can create & edit custom workflow scripts that you can then (later on) utilize for custom workflows (AP/Workflow Scripts)
With workflow scripts you can execute small JavaScript functions. Please note that you need to create a custom role for now if you want to use the new Workflow Scripts page. This feature is Enterprise-only.
We have included the Partner Portal alias inside Automated Actions (AP/Automated Actions)
This increases the flexibility inside Automated Actions.

Improvements

The following list highlights important WP/AP/CP/PP improvements.
We are now highlighting parter tickets with a partner icon in the Ticket Pool (WP/Ticket Pool)
You are now able to spot the partner icon inside the "Info/Alert/Part" column. In addition, we have also improved the partner tooltips to make it clear which partner is assigned.
You are now able to retry not just one failed action, but multiple failed actions at once (AP/Interface Monitoring)
Less clicks, more impact.
Resizing the individual panel width (of the 3-panel layout) is now possible inside Forms/AA (AP/Forms & Automated Actions)
This gives you more freedom inside those sections.
We now display the history of changes/edits for the object fields
This valuable audit data inside the History tab makes modifications more transparent and understandable.
We are not displaying data about a ticket anymore in the Customer Portal after a ticket has been closed (CP)
This is realized by expiring tokens. As the ticket is already closed, there is no requirement for status updates/information for end-customers anymore.
We have replaced the "Storage time (in days)" field with the "End of Storage time" field (WP/Parts)
This makes this particular field more clear and comprehensive, while also making you think less around the corner.

Fixes

We have fixed the issue that the "X" button does not clear values for some search bars (AP)
We have improved the lazy loading inside the Lists page (AP/Lists)
We have corrected the position of the time and date picker fields inside the Ticket Clipboard (WP/Ticket Clipboard)
We have fixed the issue with the part usage dropdown remaining empty, when "Add Part" from the Ticket Pool context menu is used for part creation (WP/Ticket Pool)
We have improved the behavior of Admin panel scrollbars for smaller laptop screens (AP)
We have resolved the issue where only the first letter of ticket info was saved and displayed on the history log (WP/Ticket Details/Ticket info)
We have improved the date/time formatting inside the Publish/Unpublish windows (WP/Publish & Unpublish)
We have fixed the coloring of the cooperation partner icon inside the Ticket Clipboard/Outsourced tab (WP/Ticket Clipboard)
We have added validations when configuring "Comparison Value" and "Operator" fields within Forms/Filters (AP/Forms)
We have fixed the "collection tick icon" displaying as unselected, even if it has been selected and saved properly before (AP/Custom Fields)

Features

The following list highlights new and exciting WP/AP/CP/PP features.
New AI-supported search help integrated into Work place (WP/AP)
With the new AI-supported search help it is possible to access help topics directly without having to leave the application. You will be able to find support for Fieldcode applications directly from within the application.
New Timeline customization options (WP/Timeline)
We are happy to announce that you can now choose from a select number of fields to customize what details are displayed on tickets in the Timeline! Options are: CNI/CNE/ZIP code/City/Company name/End user name.
You can now provide a unique dispatch group email for every dispatch group! (AP/Dispatch Groups & Automated Actions)
We've created a new alias that can be used for creating automated actions to send out emails using the unique dispatch group email. All you need is an active account and SMTP configuration, and you're all set to start taking advantage of this exciting feature!
We have made some updates to the Dispatcher assignment logic! (AP/Dispatch groups)
We've introduced a new switch that, if enabled, will grant all users access to the dispatch group by default. But, if you prefer, you can also disable this switch and select specific users to be part of the dispatch group. We've also updated the delivery tab under the users page to make it clear which dispatch groups are accessible by all or if you can assign the user directly to a dispatch group from this page.
We are pleased to announce that you can now group your field filters for your forms! (AP/Forms)
This exciting new feature allows you to create even more dynamic filtering. We have also updated the field filters for forms to now include new operators, like "in" and "contains" and "is like" and "is not like".
We're thrilled to announce that we've created some new fields and a new form used for diagnosing tickets! (AP/Forms)
We've created a default Diagnose form that can be integrated into your custom workflows, or you can simply use the individual diagnosis fields with any form. The diagnosis results will be displayed under the Intervention tab. When a ticket has been diagnosed, we will also show the results directly in the FMA app. This will give your engineers all the information they need to complete the their work.
We are thrilled to announce that we have enhanced the interface monitoring page with the addition of a new status: WARNING. (AP/Interface Monitoring)
This new status is specifically designed for REJECTED queues, offering a clear indication of potential issues.

Improvements

The following list highlights important WP/AP/CP/PP improvements.
The ZIP is now available as a column option (WP/Ticket Pool)
We're happy to let you know that the ZIP field is now available as a column option for the Ticket Pool.
It is now possible to select the month and year with greater ease (WP/Timeline)
You can now travel back and forth in time with more convenience!
If you have enabled autodispatch, you will find that the context menu is now available again, and we have also made drag-and-drop functionality available again (WP/Ticket Pool/Autodispatch)
We heard your valuable feedback, therefore these options are back.
We have increased the character limit for custom fields to 550 characters for the dropdown and checkbox field types (AP/Custom Fields)
This gives you more space for longer input!
