About the Interfaces section

Inside the Interfaces section, you can initiate interface connections, map those connections, configure interface permissions, configure interface security configurations and monitor interface connections.
What can be configured under Systems?
- Inside the Systems page you can register new systems and run through an easy-setup wizard.
What can be configured under Incoming Mappings?
- On the Incoming Mappings page you can configure the the endpoint from an external system that should be connected to your system.
- You can configure the permissions between the systems.
- You can secure your Incoming Mapping with an API key.
What can be configured under Outgoing Mappings?
- On the Outgoing Mappings page you can configure the trigger to the external system.
- You can configure the mapping by utilizing the Fieldcode Python API.
What can be configured under Permissions?
- A permission defines the interaction between the systems (e.g. Create Ticket, Update Ticket).
- You can customize system connection permissions.
What can be configured under Security Configurations?
- The security configuration consists of a set of selectable permissions.
- The API key grants access to the set.
What can be achieved inside Interface Monitoring?
- On the Interface Monitoring page, you can troubleshoot your interface connections.
