Hotkeys

To enable faster and more efficient navigation in the Ticket Pool views and X-Pool table views, the following hotkeys can be used:

Navigation

  • Up / Down Arrow: Move the cursor up or down between records (grey highlight indicates hover).
  • Enter / Return: Open ticket details of the currently selected record (green highlight).
  • Ctrl + Enter (Windows) / Cmd + Enter (Mac) : Open the ticket or object record in a new tab.
  • Double-click on a record in the Dispatch tab: Opens the Scheduling Assistant directly.

Scrolling Behavior

  • Page Up / Page Down (or Fn + Up/Down on Mac) for scrolling the list without moving the cursor.
  • When reaching the top or bottom of the visible table view, the list will scroll automatically to keep the hovered record visible.

Modal Control

  • Escape (Esc): Closes any open modal or pop-up window.
    • This behavior is already implemented for Work place ticket forms.
    • It will be extended to all draggable/moveable windows, including:
      • Assign Partner
      • Move to Clipboard
      • Other modals introduced in the future
